LUMS UK Alumni Chapter Meet–Up

The LUMS UK Alumni Chapter gathered for a meet-up on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Hyde Park in Central London, and enjoyed an afternoon of delightful conversations and shared memories of their time at the University. Alumni from the Class of 1998 to the Class of 2016 attended the event along with their families - making the reunion even more enjoyable and wholesome.  

The core aim of the meet-up was to strengthen the sense of community that all LUMS graduates share, and hence provided the perfect opportunity for enthusiastic members to interact with one another and form strong connections. The afternoon comprised of discussions regarding the challenges of living away from Pakistan, as well as the small steps that can help the transition and lead to a successful life in London.

The alumni also expressed their gratitude to Mr. Ali Farid, BSc 2003, and Ms. Mubashira Bukhari Khwaja, BSc 2003, for hosting such a memorable and entertaining event for the LUMS community in London.

The reunion ended on a shared promise amongst the alumni to meet more often and with families.
